You couldn’t have been more careful?
What about all the old people that its life threatening for them to catch the virus.
As if gloves helps when you have direct contact with each other!
Just because we are frum Jews it doesn’t mean we don’t have to be careful. This is irresponsibillness, and insensitivity. This is really not ok.

Don’t be so naive

It is not so simple. This virus is extremely contagious. Just one wedding can infect hundreds of people and even if their symptoms are very minor they can spread to someone whose body cannot handle it well.
There are many people rl who are in critical condition who are very young. Don’t be so foolish.

need to protect

We are trying to figure out what to do with my child who should be marrying soon. Family ONLY on both sides is just over 33. Rav and 2 witnesses, 36. If we go ahead soon it will be withiut all grandchildren and leave the mommies home. That brings it down to 11+ the kallah and the two mechutenestes. Make the simcha Bezras HaShem in 3-6 months or by the… Read more »

The city schools were closed two days before this. Jewish schools didn’t close until this wedding was stopped.

So sorry for them

Hope all are safe and a happy occasion had to go on.

The virus

Please we beg you to stay inside. This virus has claimed many lives and is no joke. I am sure you can have these weddings after this is all over but if you keep gathering in large groups it will continue to spread. We all want to live and that means all of us.
