Congregants, ask your Rabbi what your Shul is doing to maintain a secure environment. Do you have a single point of entry monitored by an armed security guard? Are congregants who carry concealed weapons properly trained, including carrying the correct type of defensive ammunition rather than whatever was on sale? Does your Shul have ballistic film on all windows and door glass? What is your Shul’s emergency plan? Does your Shul have functioning cameras that are on (or motion activated) all the time, even Shabbos and Yom Tov? Is there a phone readily available to call for help if needed?… Read more »
