Eitan Katz “Unplugged 3″
With much gratitude to Hashem, I am thrilled to announce the release of my new album, Eitan Katz Unplugged 3. This is the third installment of the series of albums where I’m humbled at the opportunity to record the timeless music of R’ Shlomo Carlebach Z”L. These 11 tracks will IYH inspire and uplift you and your family.
It’s no secret that R’ Shlomo’s nigunim continue to reach our hearts in ways perhaps other music doesn’t. Some of these nigunim you’ll recognize; some you won’t; but the message is clear – staying connected to these (and other) holy nigunim of the past is the only conduit to producing a new generation of meaningful Jewish music.
Zusha – Biglal Avos
This song was written for Shlomo’s father while he was in the hospital. While this song has taken on new meaning since his passing, it’s original intention remains true.
Fathers are just the most gevald – they’re strong and courageous. They’re brave and unrelenting. Especially Shlomo’s father ob”m, who was mamesh a true spiritual warrior, devoted to his family and faith in Hashem, pure and gentle, yet exuding quiet strength. We offer this song as a dedication to all loving fathers out there: Past, present, and future. We love and appreciate you!

With all its challenges, ups, and downs, it is still a wonderful life and we must be grateful.

Noam Ramati – Milekatehila
Israeli religious singer Noam Ramati released a new song based on the famous adage attributed to the Rebbe Maharash – “Lechatchila Ariber”
“The world says that if you face a challenge, first try to climb under it, if you cannot crawl under, then try climbing over it. But I say, ‘Lechatchila Ariber! – In the first place, go over!’” is how the Rebbe described it.
Ramati says he was inspired to write the song after hearing about a family of Shluchim who are based in the Far East and despite the hardships, are working “above” it all and serving Jews with faith and dedication.
Musical arrangements: Nadav Bitton.
Ki Hu Tov – Dov Halperin
Musician Dov Halperin was born in Eretz Yisroel. He lived in America for many years but about ten years ago moved back to Israel. He played many instruments and was a very popular radio personality. Dov has been writing and composing songs throughout the years, yet this is the first of which he is now releasing, called Ki Hu Tov. Dov arranged the song himself. It’s a message that even in the darkest times, this too is also good.
