As we stand on the threshold of the Month of Geulah, join us as we storm the heavens for the immediate release of Reb Sholom Mordechai HaLevi Ben Rivka.
We will be Davening for his Geulah and Fasting a Ta’anis Shaos on Monday, 29 Adar, Erev Rosh Chodesh Nissan.
May Hashem accept our fasting and hear our collective Tefillos, as He did on Erev Rosh Chodesh Shvat during Reb Sholom Mordechai’s pre-trial bail considerations.
A motion has recently been filed with the Supreme Court of the United States of America.
Let’s ‘File a motion’ with the True Judge.

i dont know if it was a matter of rabbanim imposing this fast. i believe it originated with his wife, leah. i’ts erev rosh chodesh hageulah as well as a signifigant day in regard to current bail appeal. when sholom mordichai was in jail the fist time, the rubashkins opened up to a letter in the igros kodesh where the rebbe suggested making a taanis. he was released shortly after. thats where it originally came from. pray that it works this time too!!!
what are the names if any of the rabanim who imposed this fast or is it col who decided i think knowing that rabanim are behind this would be more effective
someone should organize a schedule to make sure he has a visitor everyday.
ppl who are flying, could arrange a stopover in ohio perhaps.
get creative
anything can work when there is a will
someone from the ncfje could arrange the schedule perhaps?

oyyy HASHEM WONT YOU FREE THE PERSON?? IT PAINS ME!!!! I FEEL LIKE CRYING RIGHT NOW! MOSHIACH NOW! MAY WE ONLY HEAR GOOD NEWS AND SIMCHAS!
chatzos hayom.. someone before explained that its only till chatzos if its a tanis shaos and on the flyer abbove it says “we will be fasting a taanos shaos”
May Shalom Mordichai HaLavi Ben Rivka who always keeps on helping people & demonstrates Ahavas Yisroel, May he come home to his family real soon!!!! I like what #15 said! We are one big family, all Jews need to be more careful about Ahavas Yisroel and we can only bring Moshiach closer, true reality!!!!Amen
WE NEED MOSHIACH AD MOSAI!!!!!!!!!
why dontyougo or arrange a bus or something. maybe its hard for other people. just think. if u hate to say it why say it?
which rabbi is proclaiming tommorrow as a fast day
amazing
kol hakovod to the litvishers who visit him.
It is like the Lubavitchers who regularly go and learn with the Satmar boys in prison in Japan. This is what Hashem wants to see. We are one big family looking out for each other. Maybe if we did it always, without being prompted, we would not be forced to do it via horrific trials and tribulations that are thrust upon us – klal yisroel.
its about time that lubavitchers should have ahavas Yisroel for their own.Yes maybe we should arrange ,finances to pay for lubavitchers to go and visit him,and make sure to spend all the time allowed .I mean Lubavitchers.
that’s quite a task to ask. the guy is in iowa. i’m not saying not to go but to expect people to fly, travel/ th expense time, etc.?
big mitzva, yes. he’ll get chizuk, yes. brownie points in heaven, yes. but don’t belittle whatever someone does here, be it give money, fast, or say tehillim. they mean well and do what they can.
perhpas, to use you idea a little, maybe many people can together sponsor one person.
We’ll bring Moshiach!
MOSHIACH NOW
SIMCHA
i beleive the correct wording is ehei beta’anis lemachar
you must accept by mincha on sunday to fast a taanis shaos till chatzois on monday
I hate to say this but if you really cared about sholom mordechai, go visit him in prison. thelitvish from all over, chicago…go visit him and sholom mordechai is soo saddened that hardly any lubavitchers in there busy schedule can;t take 1 day to visit him. it PAINS HIM SOO MUCH, i know this first hand. guys take a day, take a flight a do a true mitzvah to visit him, he sits alone all day, and can have visitors. he waits to learn with someone just to give him chizuk
only besuros tovos.
If its only a tanis shaos (till chatzos hayom) not necessarily do you need to accept it during mincha the day earlier.
can u plz clarify exact details of what to do?
At the end of shomneh esrei of mincha on Sunday, right before taking three steps back, you say “hareini m’kabel alai tanis shaos”
B”H, I don’t think i’ve ever encountered such a thing before – like comment #4 put it – what are the “rules”?
can someone explain the rules, how this works?
i would like to do this, but i don’t know the halochos.
please explain in very simple words to the simple folk!
Omein!
MOSHIACH NOW!
Do you hvae to accept this in mincha on sunday? how many hours?
