Farewell Banquet in Morristown

Every Wednesday night, the boys in Grade 7 and 8 of Cheder Lubavitch Morristown look forward to one on one learning with their Bochur and an evening of excitement.

The night begins with each group learning a sicha and filling out a series of questions, earning points towards a trip and seforim distributed at the end of the year, during the Sicha they enjoy some “Farbeisen” and then move on to a fun activity.

The Mishmor program is held L’zchus Sholom Mordechei Haleivi be Rivkah and L’ilui Nishmas our dear Melamed, Rabbi Avrohom Yeshaya Schtrocks A”H.

It is run by Zevi Gutleizer, Mendy Paul – M.A.D. (Mishmor Activity Director), Itche Zirkind, Dovid Zirkind and The bochurim from Beis medrash and Smicha that give up their time to learn with the boys.

On Monday, Chof Aleph Sivan was the final night of Mishmor which concluded with an exciting banquet.

Levi Baruch MC’d the Program, Itche Zirkin began with a Dvar Torah, Shloime Volfman on behalf of the boys in Kitah Zayin and Ches thanked the Bochurim for all their time, Meir Cohen spoke about keeping the connection between your Chavrusa for years to come, Levi Simon then sang a song composed for the banquet – reminiscing the year of Mishmor, Zevi Gutleizer followed with distributing the Seforim and souvenirs to the Cheder Talmidim and their Chavrusa – the top award went to Avremi Wollosh.

The program was then concluded by an amazing video produced, edited and arranged by Dovid Zirkind.

The program officially ended with a group photo and then Rabbi Wilschanski – Principal of the Cheder, thanked each Bochur individually.
