After a year of lockdowns Hungarian Jewry came out in droves for a special Yud Tes Kislev farbrengen.
More than 200 men and women attended a special dinner in the newly built Zsilip Chabad shul, formerly a communist headquarters in Budapest. Another 100 watched live online.
Renowned speaker, Rabbi Yitzchok Schochet regaled the crowd with stories and insights into the uniqueness of Chassidus. Simultaneous translation into Hungarian was also provided.
Earlier in the day Rabbi Schochet visited and spoke at the Maimonides School, a thriving Chabad High School in Budapest.
