Aleph Learning Institute of Baltimore is launching a New Project called Farbreng In.
Mrs. Rochel Kaplan, Shlucha to the State of Maryland and Founder & Director of Aleph Learning Institute explains a new project for Baltimore women.
The concept came about to promote the Melave Malka meal, Seudah of Dovid Malka Meshicha. There is very compelling evidence from the Baal Shem Tov, for the spiritual power of this meal. At this meal and Havdalah service, a story of the Besht and thoughts from Kaballah will be exchanged.
Women will then have the opportunity to meet and greet (Shabbat Queen) in a spiritual group, Farbrengen style. As a takeoff from the concept of small “Lean In” groups, it is titled, Farbreng In.
“The opportunity for women to farbreng at a time that is, in and of itself spiritual, sets the tone for soul expression, created by a venue that is supported in the Talmud and by Chassidic sources including The Arizal, Baal Shem Tov, The Rebbe,” says founder Rochel Kaplan.
“It is hoped that this endeavor will help to bring us closer to our ultimate redemption.”
