A Siyum Sefer Torah ceremony was held on Sunday, welcoming a new Torah with singing and dancing in the streets of Crown Heights.
The Torah was dedicated by the Axlerod, Miller, Brody and Golowinski families in memory of their father and grandfather, Rabbi Moshe Miller OBM.
Rabbi Miller, who lived in Miami, was the author of over 20 books on Kabbalah and Chassidus. He passed at the age of 67 in 2022.
Final letters of the Torah in his memory were written at 580 Crown Heights with the procession going to Bais Shmuel Chabad Congregation, located at the Jewish Children’s Museum.
At the final destination of the Torah, participants joined Hakafos and dancing and then sat down for a Seudas Mitzvah.

He lived in Chicago for many years and only moved to Miami for the last months of his life. So glad to see that a Sefer Torah was written in his honor. All those who knew Rabbi could attest to the fact that he was a lebedikeh Sefer Torah. It is a loss to klal yisrael and beyond. May this Sefer Torah be a zchus for his Neshama and may the Miller family be comforted with Techias Hameisim Vehu Besocham.
