Mrs Herscovitch was a treasure in our midst! A Modest woman of valour. In her quiet way, she helped endless woman in many ways. Always saw the positive. She will be sorely missed by the montreal community.
She had a vast amount of knowledge in chassidus, while being extraordinary in humility. Well I guess that if you learn chassidus in the proper way it brings with it that kind of humility!

Mrs Hershkovich was such a sweet aidel person. I had her as a Doula for a few of my births and used her several times as a bodekes. She always sensitive to all the ladies she helped and a true advocate when in the hospital for her patients. A great loss to the Montreal community. We will all miss this great woman !
Like so many who came to Yiddishkeit from the outside world, Faigie navigated stormy seas until she found the clear, deep waters of Chabad. Her journey may have not been smooth or easy, but she faced every challenge with grace and love.
Her brilliant light lives on in her children and all who were fortunate to come into her sphere of influence.
BDE.
I hope to get in touch with Lena soon.
But I give my condolences to all Faigie’s wonderful, creative, energetic, now grown, children. May you be comforted amongst the mourners of Zion and Yerushalaim.

I was very sad to hear this news…I knew her as Frankie back in the day.. She was my best friend when we were both young teenagers living on Noel Street.
I have many warm memories of her and her mother…the three of us talking and often laughing at the kitchen table..I spent a lot of time at their place. I send my deepest condolences to her family… Barbara Israel, NY
