Community invited to celebrate this milestone achievement for women’s volunteer ambulance service
Ezras Nashim, the pioneering all-women volunteer ambulance service, will be celebrating a significant milestone with the unveiling of their second ambulance at a special ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sunday, May 11.
The celebratory event will take place at the District Office of Assemblyman Brian Cunningham, located at 249 Empire Blvd in Crown Heights, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with the official ribbon cutting scheduled for 12:00 PM.
This expansion marks an important step forward for the organization, which was founded to provide emergency medical services by women, for women, addressing the unique needs and sensitivities of female patients in our community.
“The addition of a second ambulance will significantly enhance our ability to serve women throughout the community,” said a representative from Ezras Nashim. “We’re grateful for the community’s continued support that has made this growth possible.”
The event will feature first aid demonstrations, ambulance tours, balloons for children, and light refreshments. Community members of all ages are welcome to attend this family-friendly celebration.
Assemblyman Brian Cunningham will be hosting the event at his district office, demonstrating the important partnership between community organizations and elected officials in supporting vital services.
The ceremony is open to the public and all community members are cordially invited to attend and show their support for this important community resource.
