Public service announcement to Crown Heights:
National Grid will be working late today, Tuesday, April 20, on the corner of Kingston Ave and Crown Street out of respect to Kingston Bakery and House of Glatt.
They did not want to stop the gas lines leading to their buildings during the day (as part of the upgrading of the gas lines along Kingston Ave.) in order not to cause them any monetary loss.
Please understand that this will mean ongoing noise until around 9:00 PM tonight and please do not call up the various agencies regarding noise issues, etc.

you obviously don’t live on crown st b/c the noise is unbearable when your putting your baby to sleep and this is only for 2 stores a whole block cant sleep
It’s gr8 wen we hear of ppl going out of their way 2 help us – thanx, and u ppl who r complaining – put ear plugs in, and mouth plugs 2!!
It’s a wonderful thing that they r willing to do a night shift to help our ppl, our stores – not 2 lose $.
