Kehila 55 took a group of ex IDF soldiers now living in Toronto, Ontario, to an afternoon of a spirited Paintball game.
They were led by Rabbi Nachman Forer and Rabbi Raphie Konsker.
Playing and then learning, the youngsters and the rabbis bonded with some taking upon themselves to start putting on Tefillim once Pesach was over.
Adam Omer, who was a tank commander, was overheard saying, “I cannot believe how great these Rabbis are! If only they were in the army…”
“This was an extremely uplifting day and a way to bond with our heroes,” said Rabbi Konsker, “now they have to come to our battle grounds and learn Torah.”
