A weekly father and son learning program has ended for this year in Coral Springs, Florida.
Avos u’Banim is a national (now, international) weekly learning program for Fathers and Sons.
During the winter months, when Shabbos ends early enough, the hour-long program is followed by light refreshments, raffles, and prizes. This highly successful project, getting parents more involved in their children’s learning, came to Coral Springs, Florida this year with great success, thanks to the initiative of Pesach Klein.
The final session ended last Motzei Shabbos with a Melave Malka, prizes, and a chance to win big from the national organization’s annual raffle.
“Obviously, learning Torah with our children should be a top priority, but our busy modern lifestyle often prevents many of us from personally being involved,” said Rabbi Yossie Denburg, Shliach of Coral Springs. “That is why the Coral Springs’ chapter was so welcomed and quite popular,” he said.
Pesach Klein really ran a phenomenal program! From the start to the end my son really enjoyed every minute! Can’t wait for next year!
