A crowd of 2000 of the Argentine Jewish community gathered at the Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel & Convention Center for an evening of inspiration and connection and to pay tribute to the Rebbe and his living legacy.
The evening, which took place on Wednesday evening, 28 Sivan – June 25, began with a cocktail reception and live music by Mendel Feldman and Zalmy Okunov, students of Yeshiva Gedola of Buenos Aires.
Rabbi Pinchas Sudry director of Or Sinai was MC for the evening. The program included a video presentation of “Marching Orders” by JEM.
The crowd enjoyed heartwarming nigunim sung by Yossi Rodal, Eitan Savatman, Zalmy Okunov and Mendel Feldman. They were accompanied by the local orchestra.
Rabbi Tzvi Grunblatt, Head Shliach and Director of Jabad Lubavitch Argentina inspired the crowd to strengthen their connection to the Rebbe by reaching out and inspiring others, and presented “Proyecto Ilumina” (project ignite).
Every person had a chance to write a “pan”, and take on a Hachlata for Gimmel Tammuz.
A special video presentation “Mi Viaje Al Rebe” produced by ORT Argentina presented the stories of 2 people whose lives were changed after traveling to the Rebbe as part of the annual trip organized by the 15 programs for students and young professionals of Chabad Lubavitch Argentina.
Guest speaker Dr. David Nesenoff had the crowd amused with humor and wit and an inspiring message of Hashgach Protis and the Rebbe’s call for action.
The JEM book Seeds of Wisdom was published in Spanish by Editorial Kehot directed by Rabbi Noson Grunblatt and was presented and made available to the crowd.
The event was organized and coordinated by Tzach and sponsored by many of the Batei Chabad and Chabad Lubavitch Argentina directed by Rabbi Tzvi Grunblatt.
