A new online crowdfunding platform that has not been officially launched yet has already been making waves in the fundraising community worldwide.
RaiseThon, a new fundraising platform that will officially launch in the next few weeks by businessman Rabbi Shloimy Greenwald has already raised over $35 million for charity in the past few months during its beta testing launch.
The platform was created for the historic Hatzalah-Thon which raised an incredible $18,500,000 million, and due to requests hosted large and small campaigns in the Jewish community in the past few weeks.
In the past two weeks alone, the fundraising campaigns hosted on RaiseThon include Kolel L’Horaah Maasis, Ahavas Chesed, R’ Moshe Rubashkin’s Hachnosas Orchim, the Tent at 770, Anshei Moshe, Vaad Hatmimim, Chabad of Bronxville, NY, and Chabad of Escondido, CA.
The platform will also host other forms of fundraising such as raffles, Chinese Auctions and more.
The company hopes to launch officially in the next few weeks.
