Esther Leah Kaploun, daughter of Rabbi Yaacov hakohen and Dreizel (Hecht) Kaploun passed away early this morning after a lengthy illness which she fought with amazing grace and dignity.
Esther was an integral part of the Moses & Aaron Foundation, named after her grandfathers, Rabbi Moshe Yitzchok Hecht and Aharon Hakohen Kaploun, which brought smiles to the faces of thousands of special needs/ outstanding children at the Chazak Concerts.
During her long illness, Esther concerned herself with Chesed and Tzedaka projects in an incredible manner. Hundreds benefitted from her efforts.
Esther was instrumental in making changes in the hospitals where she was being treated, to provide better quality kosher food and services.
She is survived by her parents and siblings: Yehuda Kaploun, Miami, Florida; Yedida Kaploun, New York; Eliyahu Kaploun, New York; and Adira Werdiger, Melbourne, Australia.
The levaya will take place today, Tuesday, at Shomrei Hachomos Chapel at 982 39th St, corner Tenth Ave in Boro Park promptly at 2 pm and will pass by 770 at 2:30 pm.
Burial will be in Israel.
The family will be sitting Shiva at 28 Forshay Road, Monsey NY until Wednesday
Yehuda Kaploun will be sitting Shiva in North Miami Beach at 17350 NE 7 Ave
From Sunday 12 pm until Monday.
