Due to the war that broke out in Eretz Yisrael, foreign airlines canceled flights to Israel and many guests who planned on returning to Israel after Yom Tov, are stranded in New York.
The hanhala of Eshel announced they will continue their chessed activities for the king’s guests, as needed.
In similar situations, the Rebbe said to increase Tefilla and Tzedaka. Now is the time to support thousands of guests who remain in Crown Heights by donating directly to Eshel charidy.com/eshel
Many guests, mainly couples and families with children, who rented apartments until today or tomorrow, based on their flights home, are now contending with vacating their apartment even though their flights have been delayed. They have no place to sleep until they can fly.
Eshel is trying to help but has not been able to respond to so many requests for help.
Eshel turns to residents of Crown Heights with a request: Can you host couples or even families with children?
Please send details to [email protected] with your full name, how many people you can host, for how many days, and we will be in touch with you to match you up with guests.

don’t fly back to israel until it’s safe. Stay in the USA for now
The rebbe said it then and it applies now as well
I still think that all Israeli jews who are in US right now because they came to NY for sukkos should stay in US until it’s over. And I also think most of those American jews who happen to be in Israel, whose family is in US should come to the US until it’s over.
I would suggest an alternative title for this article, e.g. Israeli guests
No Jew is ever “stranded”…he or she is exactly where they are meant to be by hashgocho protis, as the Rebbe would say
which states are you looking for host houses in
