200 bochurim who are currently in “Chassidish quarantine” at a campground in Connecticut, spent Friday, Erev Shabbos using their time for learning and fun.
Iggud Talmedei Hakvutzah have secured a place where the bochurim have been learning and Davening as well as enjoying their surroundings.
The bochurim also had all their needs met for a beautiful Shabbos together.
This year, with concerns about the spread of COVID-19, Iggud Talmidei Hakvutzah, an organization founded by 770 Alumni and Yungerleit, arranged for bochurim who will be spending a year learning in Kvutzah in 770 to first spend 2 weeks quarantining in Connecticut.
The plan was conceived together with the Gedaliah Society, headed by Dr. Eli Rosen, and also received the blessing of the Crown Heights Beis Din. 770 Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Shneur Zalman Labkowski expressed full support for the effort, which will enable the Talmidim to come to Kvutzah in a manner which is safe and comfortable for all.
