Did you know that the Alter Rebbe, Rabbi Shneur Zalman, founder of Chabad, instituted a custom that every community divide the entire Talmud each year, to be completed by Kislev 19? Each individual Chassid is tasked with learning one Masechta (tractate), together completing all of Shas annually.
Did you know that at the Rebbe’s Yud-Tes Kislev Farbrengen cards were handed out for everyone to fill out and choose a Masechta? (The Rebbe himself filled one out too!)

Now, thanks to the pioneering vision of Rabbi Adin-Even Israel Steinsaltz, of blessed memory, and the Steinsaltz Center, in partnership with the legendary Koren Publishers – Jerusalem – the Koren Talmud is now available on the Chayenu App.
