During a concert at Camp YKK – Yeshivas Kayitz Kingston this week, a special song and exuberant dance of thanks to Hashem were dedicated to a counselor in the camp who experienced a great miracle.
Musician Chony Milecki was accompanying singer Boruch Sholom for the lively concert, when Milecki made an announcement to the crowd.
He informed the campers and staff that counselor Shuey Geisinsky had recently been in a trampoline accident during a camp trip to a Trampoline Park last Monday.
Shuey was jumping on the trampoline when he broke his neck in multiple places.
“Doctors said that this was a very dangerous thing, they couldn’t believe he was walking,” Milecki said. “They also told him that people in this situation are normally affected for the rest of their lives.”
Shuey was told he needed a very serious surgery, “but he was happy, and he had Emunah and Bitachon,” Milecki said.
On Friday, Shuey underwent surgery, and now, Milecki told the crowd, “Shuey Geisinsky is on the road to making a full recovery, and we are ready to say ‘Thank you Hashem!'”
“Shuey has a long road ahead of him in rehabilitation, but he is thank G-d headed to a full recovery,” his father, Rabbi Meir Geisinsky, a Shliach in the Five Towns, NY, told COLlive. “A hairline more…this could have had a very different result. It’s a clear miracle,” he said.
The family thanks everyone for their Tefilos for Yehoshua Tanchum ben Hadassah Sarah.

Baruch Hashem! What a nes!
BH So very grateful for this miracle !!! But ( as a nervous Bubbie ) I think that all campers and counselors should be warned before a trampoline outing – or any trip – that they should be very mindful that accidents do happen and not to go beyond their skill set. This can be discussed during the special training for our devoted Counselors I know that Hashem rules the world, but statistics show that even backyard trampolines are the cause of many trips to the Emergency Room, some quite serious
Wishing Shuey a complete Refuah Sh’leima.🙏🏻
(The same accident happened to me 48years ago when I was 11).
