The first yahrzeit of Rabbi Dovid Raskin OBM, a legendary chossid and activist, was celebrated Sunday, April 29, at a memorial event at the Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights.

Rabbi Raskin led the Lubavitch Youth Organization (Tzach Central) for over 55 years, alongside directing the Central Tomchei Temimim Yeshiva of 770 Eastern Parkway.
He was the Rebbe’s baal koreh, help found the iconic Mitzvah Tanks and was a board member of Agudas Chassidie Chabad International, Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch and Machne Israel.
