Yisroel Eliyahu Suissa, a son of a Chabad family in Montreal, Canada, was tragically killed in a car accident in Israel, on Tuesday night, eve of 26 Adar I 5784.
He was 21.
Suissa was in Israel, selflessly serving in the Israel Defence Forces to protect the Holy Land and its people.
He was stationed in Gaza, fighting against the terrorist regime of Hamas.
He served for 150 consecutive days and was now allowed to take a vacation to rest up.
According to a report, he was riding a motorcycle on Highway 4 near the Morasha Junction and was fatally hit.

What an amazing boy and brave soldier he was. A young man with excellent middos and a heart of gold.

This is too too sad!! I.know the family quite well! This is a terrible loss & tragedy. I was speaking with his father when he just came back straight from the airport last year to surprise him! You should have seen how ecstatic he was that his son was in the army!! This is very heartbreaking!

How can we all do something each day in his zchut, I am the same age as him and I am heart broken. After 150 days of war he went to take a break and this happened. Crying, heart shattered.
