A group of elected officials, police brass, and community leaders came together at United Lubavitcher Yeshiva on Tuesday to participate in a traditional matzah-baking activity with 30 children. The event provided a unique opportunity for leaders to connect with the community and experience the joy of baking matzah.
The group included JCRC CEO Mark Treyger, Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, NYPD Community Affairs Chief Richie Taylor, Brooklyn South Chief Charlie Minch, Assistant Commissioner Fred Kreizman, Joel Eisdorfer, Chanina Sperlin, and Yaacov Behrman.
Together, they worked alongside the children, separating stalks of wheat and baking the matzah from start to finish. The event was a heartwarming celebration of community and tradition, with the kids beaming with excitement throughout the experience.
