It is now 6 months since El Al has become the sole dependable air carrier between Israel and North America, during this difficult time of conflict in Israel.
The significant disparity between the high demand and limited supply resulted in many individuals in our community struggling to secure affordable flights for their essential trips to Israel.
Shmulik Kravitsky, the CEO of Sky2000 Travel, has personally handled dozens of these cases in collaboration with top executives of El Al. “Throughout these challenging circumstances, El Al has made extra efforts to successfully assist many of our community members,” Kravitsky says.
While in Israel this week for a family simcha, Shmulik seized the opportunity to express his gratitude to El Al’s CEO, Dina Ben Tal Ganancia, on behalf of the community, by presenting her with a heartfelt thank you plaque made of chocolate with edible ink.
Mrs. Ben Tal graciously accepted this token of gratitude and expressed El Al’s unwavering commitment to supporting the needs of our community in the future. She also extended her thanks to the Chabad travelers from North America for choosing El Al over other available options.
