Chabad educators from around the world are gathering in Crown Heights this Sunday and Monday for the 5776 Chabad Chinuch Convention, marking 40 years since Shnas HaChinuch.
The first-of-its-kind convention is a historic effort to bring together Lubavitcher Mechanchim from across the world in a two-day event of Chinuch-empowering knowledge, inspiration, networking, and an opportunity to develop new Chinuch expertise.
Educators will join workshops and sessions and enjoy roundtables and networking opportunities given by expert presenters.
Presenters include Rabbi Yitzchok Wolf, Rabbi Dovid Hazdan, Rabbi Yossi Rosenblum, Rabbi Avraham Granat, Rabbi Zelly Silber, Rabbi Levi Feldman, Mrs. Bronya Shaffer, Mrs. Chavi Goldberg, Mrs. Shaindy Shapiro, Mrs. Nami Friedman, Mrs. Bracha Landa, Ms. Baylie Vail, and Mrs. Dena Gorkin.
The Convention is running two fully separate and concurrent programs for men and women.
Sunday’s program will culminate with the Chinuch Banquet and will include the presentation of the Chinuch Awards to two outstanding Chabad teachers.
