Mrs. Dorothy Grossman, a beloved mother and grandmother from Los Angeles, passed away on Tuesday, 4 Adar I, 5784.
She was 94.
Dorothy was one of the beloved matriarchs of Chabad in Los Angeles. Her sons were raised amongst the first Chabad children to grow up in Los Angeles and became prominent members of the Chabad communities of Los Angeles and New York.
She was predeceased by her husband Nate Grossman, who was a Tomim of Achei Temimim of Pittsburgh, PA.
She is survived by her sons Rabbi Fischel Grossman and Dr. Barry (Baruch) Grossman and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The Levaya will be on Wednesday, 1pm
at Hillside Memorial Park

Bde. Wow- knew her for over 50 yrs. Good old times. Used to go swimming in her pool, back in the day! Always left back door open! What hachnosas orchim- she had. So special. We should only hear good news from now on.
Never got to know her but to have such special boys , she must’ve been special.
