Don’t Turn Your Brain Off

there is absolutely no excuse for posting a ministers quote in a Davar Torah. Misnagdim would never do this and it has come to a point where we Chasidim! need to learn from them! Az Uch Un Vei.

When Seforim line our shelves in perfect state and arrangement for the sake of looking good, and Kehos is going out of business, there is no reason why we need to resourt to kabel es haemes meme sheumro and use this goy to learn torah.

i dont get it

u started by saying ur frustration with the airlines which was due to imoral..etc

then you talked about parshas mishpatim.. laws..civil..

what was the point of the article? to give a dvar torah or let out frustration?

quite confusing… but interesting to read

Rabbi Kahanov
Someone showed me your article re ‘turning off your brain’. One word: EXCELLENT! I don’t usually comment on others, but this one deserved my attention and compliments. Keep up the good work and the ‘good fight’. Brochoh vehatzolochoh and chodesh tov vesame’ach!

Whilst the speech that minister gave was a good one I have a hard time seeing the correlation to it here thats1. and 2. Why do we need to search what ministers and preists say when we can look at our own?!!!!!!!

Yes, I am too frustrated and stuck with a delayed flight but as we are taught there is a Divine reason for everything.Lets Tracht gut vzein Gut

Rabbi, you wrote a most disturbing line, because it emphasizes what my heart has told me for years and seems to be actualized at least in Crown Heights, for now, and perhaps in the current state of the Lubavitch world at large. At first it was slow, as you describe, but now it is going full steam ahead. Can the clock be turned back? With a little thought, you will see the truth of your statement played out as I described above – demanding immediate and serious thought. You wrote: “Has there ever been a society that has lost its… Read more »
