While most women are enjoying the month of Cheshvan as a well-deserved break following the hectic Tishrei, there are some women who are feverishly working on an event of mammoth proportions. Compared to the Grand Challah Bake, feeding one’s entire extended family a five course meal in a tiny Sukkah seems easy.
Junior N’shei organizers as well as their devoted team of volunteers are working tirelessly to finalize the many details that go into an event where hundreds of women will be whipping up hundreds of batches of challah dough. Flour and sugar, bowls and spoons, and numerous other elements will come together on Wednesday, November 19 when participants will gather for an evening of dough-making pleasure and inspiration. Regretfully, space is limited, despite making use of Crown Heights’s largest venue. For this reason, participation is by registration only, so women are encouraged to do so, the sooner, the better!
Challah bakes are the latest and greatest phenomenon to be sweeping the globe, and the Crown Heights Grand Challah Bake is sure to stand out. Featuring world-renowned speaker Mrs. Esther Vilenkin, and bringing together Crown Heights women in a stunning display of unity, it is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, not to be missed.
If you, or a woman you know will want to be part of this spectacular occasion, take a minute now to register at www.grandchallahbake.com and start the countdown! Once the quota has been reached, registration will close.
