On Monday, June 18, the Chaya Mushka Seminary in Montreal for Chabad girls hosted its annual Scotch and Cigar Event.
Supporters gathered on the front lawn of the Seminary to toast a l’chaim with one another and savor delicious cocktails prepared by Toledano Catering.
“The event brought together community members from all walks of life, who got a glimpse into the activities and programs our students accomplish in the city,” remarked Rabbi Avraham Cohen, Director of the seminary.
The attendees gathered to raise funds for scholarships earmarked for the education of the young ladies attending the Seminary.
Under the guidance of Rabbi Michoel Dahan, Dean of the Seminary, the students attend an excellent teacher training program in a chassidishe and warm environment.
The invitees all expressed that they were proud to support a centre of higher learning that will produce the future teachers and educators for Jewish communities worldwide.
