Kettle & Cord, the homeware store in Crown Heights, will host the Kettle in Elul Recipe Swap this Monday, September 23rd at 8PM.
Winners of the recipe competition will present their favorite Yom Tov recipes along with a brisket demo with Chef Gitty Rapoport.
The recipe swap began with a community-wide contest, where community members submitted their favorite Yom Tov recipes to share. The contest winners will present their recipes, and participants will be able to sample the delicious food and take home a new Yom Tov recipe book.
Samples of each recipe will be given out and visitors will have the chance to mingle, eat, and exchange recipes. The recipes will be written up on cards for each attendee to take home. Kettle & Cord will also be giving out gift bags with beautiful Shana Tova cards and more.
The event will also feature a demonstration by Kettle & Cord’s very own test kitchen chef, Gitty Rappoport. She will be demonstrating her favorite, easy update on a classic brisket and talking about different meat cuts.
While you’re there, check out the array of gorgeous honey dishes, challah boards and knives to spruce up your kitchen in honor of the New Year. Ask about the special seasonal sales and discounts.
Local delivery is available for online or over the phone orders. See all gift packages and prices at kettleandcord.com.
The event will be on Monday night, September 23, in the K&C kitchen and starts at 8PM. To see what Kettle & Cord is up to and to get more details, follow them on social media at @kettleandcord.

Please make a cookbook of all the submitted recipes. Even just a copied stapled handout! I would pay for that. MAke it available for out of towners too! I would buy this
