Diaper Gemach Helps Families

Dear Crown Heights,

There are many families in our community who are lacking funds for basic needs, lo aleinu. I run the Adelle Shayna Diaper Gemach to fill a need in the community – diapers for families who are struggling to make ends meet.

Every week I distribute approximately 20 packages of diapers to Crown Heights families, asking for a mere $2.50 per pack contribution. Some families cannot even contribute that amount.

In order to keep the gemach functioning at its current rate, or even increasing IY”H, I need help from the community! If you have an open or closed case of diapers in your house that your child has outgrown, please DONATE them! If you can spare a few dollars, please contribute to the financial needs of the gemach. If you can donate Amazon, Walmart or Target gift cards, THE GEMACH NEEDS YOU! If you can sponsor a case of diapers, either as a one-time contribution or a monthly delivery, THE GEMACH NEEDS YOU!

The Gemach is open every Monday from 7:30-9:30 pm by APPOINTMENT ONLY! Appointments can be made by phone/text at 917-652-6304. The earlier you make the appointment on Monday, the better chances that I have stock to reserve for you.

The gemach is Lilui Nishmas Adelle Shayna bas Mordechai Eliah. Adelle Shayna is the daughter of Joshua and Yael Hanover, members of our community. She was niftar in infancy and the mitzvos done through this gemach are in her merit.
