The ninth grade class of Lubavitch Girls High School in Oak Park, Michigan, is proudly presenting “A Purim Shpiel” to their fellow students and to other schools.
The play is a 15 minute puppet show telling the full story and miracle of Purim in ancient Persia.
Unique to these puppets is that they all were made from recycled materials – and so was the stage, backdrop and props.
COLlive.com was told that in addition to staging in Detroit, the show has traveled to Chicago area day schools and was received with great enthusiasm.
The show was written and directed by Fraidy Mann-Hecht, produced by Chana Finman, and professionally filmed and edited by private production company Harmelody TV.
