Detroit Announces Head Staff

While much of the US braves the frigid winter, summer plans are well on their way at CGI Detroit.

The Directors are happy to announce the girls head staff for 5774 and are available to answer any questions about the camp program.

All camp decisions are with the guidance of Camp Mashpia Rabbi Yossi Shemtov of Toledo, OH.

This year’s Head Counselors for the girls division are Rochel Greenberg, El Paso, Texas, Goldy Itkin, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Devorah Leah Nemes, New Orleans, Louisiana and Mushky Shemtov, West Bloomfield, MI.

The Girls Camp is back this year with extraordinary staff and amazing programs and activities on 660 gorgeous acres in Lubavitch City, Michigan.

“Our camp is renowned for a warm Chassidishe atmosphere with special attention for every child from our professionally trained and responsible staff members,” said Directors. “We have an exciting season ahead of us with our brand new completed bunkhouses and athletic fields.”

Their highly acclaimed, unique Pioneers Program is back this year as well, with amazing programs, and the Varimkeit and Chassidishkeit that you have come to know and expect from CGI Detroit.

9th grade girls also have an exciting opportunity for a great summer experience. Our waitress program gives girls the opportunity to build relationships with younger campers, enjoy daily shiurim with discussions with Mashpia Rabbi Yossi Shemtov, obtain lifeguarding certification, take part in clubs, and much more.

Registration is now open, register by February 1st to enter our Early Bird Raffle to win an iPod Touch and many other prizes.
