Early Sunday morning, under the crisp blue English sky, sat two Frum girls in a room with fashion designers, business owners and representatives of different religions. Their mission today: to speak for Judaism and Fashion.
Sisters Mushky Brook and Malki Vogel, residents of London and founders of clothing design company Red Flamingo UK, were called upon to represent Judaism for a BBC live program displaying faith and fashion airing on BBC on Sunday.
Unabashedly, the two spoke to the two hosts Ria and Sean about Jewish guidelines, including the laws of Tznius, covering your elbows, knees and collarbone. They described their passion to keep orthodox women dressing with perfect modesty while still looking fashionable and stylish, and how and why they were inspired to create such pieces.
