Pin based Debit not as good for the customers.

It is not always better for the CUSTOMER to use their pin. Don’t forget when using your pin a lot of banks will charge the customer a fee as if they would be using an ATM. Also the customer would not receive the same protection on purchases as they would when entering a pin as the transaction would be routed on the PIN debit networks and not on Visa/MC.

Tell this to Empire Kosher. They insist that you sign and are lazy to set up their machines by the cash registers. They are losing a lot of money, not to mention it would speed up the lines with the pins!
