Something that has been sorely lacking for people who received smicha already, and who want to take their learning to the next level, is a properly structured program, wherein they can learn Choshen Mishpat at an advanced level, while being given the support and resources needed to make that possible.
Next week, on Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan 5783, the Machon Smicha Dayanus Program begins. And with its launch, that void is finally being filled.
In all, the program offers participants shiurim from prominent dayanim and rabbonim, a Translated and Explained Shulchan Aruch containing introductions, overviews, translations, and in-depth summaries of every halachah, a flexible learning schedule, and so much more.
The program is comprehensive in scope, exploring the sources of the halachos all the way down to their contemporary application and minhagim. Additionally, workshops along the way will make the learning practical, and clue participants in to how a beis din functions, and how the world of Choshen Mishpat works in the day-to-day.
