CSSY Currently Helping 3 Families in Crisis

CSSY – Chevra Simchas Shabbos V’Yom Tov is known for feeding the hungry and supplying poor families with Shabbos and Yom Tov needs.

Nevertheless, there are many things we do at CSSY to assist individuals in the Crown Heights community with special requests and emergency situations. People turn to us when there is nowhere else to go. Either they exhausted all other options or they simply don’t know where to turn for help. Then there are the times that the issues are so sensitive that they won’t trust anyone else and CSSY are the only ones they are willing to turn to.

At this current time, CSSY is assisting THREE Crown Heights families struggling with teenage girls who are in desperate need of rehab. They have turned to us when nobody else could help them. The situation is so dire that these teens fall into the category of PIKUACH NEFESH MAMOSH. The rehab facilities they are being sent to are the only chance we have to save them. This is a very heartbreaking, scary and challenging time for these girls and their families. They need support and we need to help them now before it’s too late.

THESE ARE NOT TEENS ON THE NEWS, OR IN OTHER NEIGHBORHOODS – THESE ARE OUR CHILDREN IN OUR COMMUNITY. The families are part of our Crown Heights community and they need you to step up and assist them during this painful time.

Our goal is collect $80,000 immediately, to ensure the necessary treatment for these teens and to support their families.
