Crown Heights United has issued endorsements in the upcoming New York City elections. “This is a very important election, and everyone needs to vote,” they said.
We encourage everyone to vote for Andrew Cuomo — he is the only candidate who can defeat Mamdani. A strong voter turnout is critically important, regardless of the race’s outcome. Elected officials pay close attention to which districts turn out to vote, and this can shape future policy. This may be the most important local election of our lifetime.
Crown Heights Rabbonim, along with 60 shuls and community organizations, have called on the community to come out and vote. Hundreds of Rabbonim also signed a letter this week highlighting the importance of voting. Jewish communities across New York City are united in encouraging everyone to participate.

If you’d have rallied around Sliwa instead of Cuomo you’d have a chance at beating Mamdani.
Look at the polls, Sliwa has no chance. Realistically Cuomo is our only hope to avoid Mamdani, who would be many times worse than Cuomo. Besides, Sliwa’s wife has been posting very hateful anti-Israel propaganda on social media, like blaming Israel for October 7, calling Israelis animals on October 9, and much worse. Even worse than anything Mamdani and his wife have said, which makes him compromised.
