Artist Shalom Ber Burkis created this colorful street art of Chassidim traveling to the Rebbe while being transported spiritually as well.
The painting, which took 24 hours to create, is located in Crown Heights, in the alleyway on Kingston Avenue between Union and President Streets.
The street art resembles a beloved famous painting of artist Zalman Kleinman.
Burkis creates all kinds of digital and graffiti art, some of which can be seen on the streets of Crown Heights.

Shalom Ber Burkis, you are SO talented! Thank you for beautifying the walls of our schunah!!
Such a great way to use a G-d-given talent and uplift the spirits of others (pun intended.) Our community loves this, Mr. Burkis. Maybe the Jewish Community Council can get some government funding for this as a cultural project. It’s certainly as enjoyable an exhibit as some of the nouveau “art” on display in the local museums, and probably has a far greater number of viewers.
