From deterring burglaries and robberies to locating missing children and solving disputes, the organization is a trusted resource to the community and works in partnership with the Police Department.
Shmira dispatchers monitor the hotline 24/7 to ensure that assistance will always be provided.

My kid was hanging out in the streets of Crown Heights, getting addicted to bad things and habits, kicked out of Yeshiva and his situation looked hopeless.
Boruch Hashem, the organization of Shmira brought my son in, taught him self-defense and he helped them with administrative jobs and daily patrols. his self-esteem has picked up, he seems more happier and confident in life. it’s all because of Shmira!
