Lubavitch Yeshiva Crown St. Students
We will iyh be preparing breakfast and lunch for our students, available to be picked up on days when there is no school.
We will be preparing fruits, vegetables, protein, grain and milk.
In order for our kitchen staff to estimate how many portions to prepare, please fill out this ANONYMOUS form \listing how many meals you will need every day.
PICKUP WILL BE EACH MORNING (starting Monday) BETWEEN 11 AM and 12 PM in our dining room at 570 Crown st. Please send only one person per family to the pickup location.

Bais Rivkah Students:
We will iyh be preparing lunch that will be available to be picked up for our students to enjoy while school is closed.
Cereal and milk will be available during pickup as well and should be taken home so you can have it ready for breakfast the following morning.
To help us prepare appropriately, please fill out this link and let us know (anonymously) how many meals you will be picking up.
Pickup will be held daily in the lunchroom at 470 Lefferts Ave, and will be available from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
To ensure the smallest group possible, please send only one person per family. They will pick up for all their siblings.
This is a beautiful thing. Some families cannot afford food each day, my self included. ( Yes this probably has to do with government funding lets not fool ourselves)
However this also highlights the need in this community for something to be done about school tuition. I’m totally using my credit card (in other words, going into debt) for tuition. In Williamsburg, they have a cap of $2000 per family (from what I hear)Something like this needs to be done in this community. Geverim, the One Above has given you so that you can help. Your community is first.
Imagine if this was an ongoing offering. If one or some folks blessed with lotsa money funded a free soup kitchen offering two meals a day – breakfast and supper, for anyone who wanted food. Yes, a few people would take advantage, but most people who would use the service would truly need it. can be pickup vs eat in, to save on space and embarrassment. (And the truly “entrepreneuring” could probably figure out a way to get some government funding by partnering with schools who would be providing “school” lunch, and senior programs, ETC.).
