A highlight at the Melave Malka of the International Kinus Hashluchim held at the Palace hall in Brooklyn, NY, was an appearance that wasn’t on the official program.
With thousands of Shluchim seated together on Motzoei Shabbos, Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch Vice Chairman Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky welcomed the “Rabbonim of Crown Heights.”
Joining the Shluchim were indeed Rabbi Avrohom Osdoba and Rabbi Yosef Braun, 2 out of the 3 members of the Crown Heights Beis Din, along with the Dayan Rabbi Shlomo Segal.
The crowd responded with a standing ovation, expressing their spontaneous joy over the recent peace agreement between the rabbonim that has restored joint activity in the Beis Din.
Rabbi Osdoba was then invited to the podium. He briefly offered greetings and wished the Shluchim much success in their work.
Among the speakers during the evening were Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky, Chairman of Merkos and Machne Israel, and Rabbi Abraham Shemtov, the Rebbe’s Shliach to the White House and Chairman of Agudas Chassidei Chabad International.
