The 71st Precinct and Crown Heights Jewish Community Council hosted its annual Family Day Picnic Sunday at Lefferts Park, bringing together all the residents of Crown Heights for a fun and family-oriented event.
The event started with a parade along Empire Boulevard, culminating in a picnic in Lefferts Park in Crown Heights.
Participants enjoyed entertainment, moon bounces, rides, and a Kosher barbeque.
Special guests included NYPD Commissioner Raymond Kelly and new 71st Precinct Captain John Lewis who met with representatives of the Crown Heights Jewish Community Council and community organizations.
