Having been a frum teacher in a black inner city school, my advice is to greet them with a smile and show no fear. Let r love shine on your face. Be a kiddush Hashem, and remember, the riots were caused by evil politicians.

You are really stretching that last sentence. I didn’t know there were militants in Crown Heights. Since yuppies and hipsters are moving in I find that very unlikely.

We are a very stiffnecked people as the Torah says, but you’d think that after 2000 years of intense suffering, we’d put our differences aside and show respect and achdus. Very sad, and distressing too…

1.The absence of war or other hostilities
2. Freedom from quarrels and disagreement
3. Harmonious relations
