The Rebbe often noted, the quote that” “Whatever a Yid sees or hears he must take out a lesson form it in Avodas Hashem” Certainly when the entire world is all outraged at the use of Extremism and Intolerance against anyone who doesn’t agree with anyone’s else’s beliefs, it certainly is a call on us Yidden to reflect too. Crown Heights and 770 is the pinnacle of the world and everything we do here eventually trickles down and is reflected throughout the world. We must ask ourselves: Do we in C.H.and in 770, display religious tolerance towards those who disagree… Read more »

They were not there for the Jews. I’ve just come home from both manifestations. The first one was planned after the massacre at Charlie Hebdo & then when the friday massacre happened they added it on to the end of it.
Most people did not make the walk from Nation to pay respects outside Hyper Cacher – only us the Yidden did.
Do not be fooled by these photos, today they cry for us but tomorrow will forget (I’ve lived here long enough and been on enough marches to know).

its NOT the jews they care about….a lot of these people are actually very anti semetic…they care about themselves…most of the french side with hamas and “palestinian” side…the main reason they are doing this si because of the journalists that got killed and the “liberte” that was attacked

No Leadership in Obama

Weak leaders are weak all the time. Obama is weak and ineffective and cannot understand the depth of what is transpiring. As a Canadian we are extremely proud of our Prime Minister Harper who is not afraid to speak the truth. Sadly, Americans and the rest of the world have endure Obama for another year. He is pathetic.

In two of them you see the cartoon that says
“il faut violer charlie hebdo?”
which means, “should we violate charlie hebdo?”
And which three religions are represented as ranting this? Take a look and see if you recognize the one on the left.
Really the tzeilem should disqualify that image from any Jewish media. At any rate, Of all people, the French have betrayed us over the course of our History. But then, who has not betrayed us? אין לנו להשיען אלא על אבינו שבשמים

The great Synagogue of Paris was NOT closed, contrary to many rumors. The CRIF made a statement that it didn’t close during the nazi rule, and it wont close because of islamists. That would be a present to them.

This indeed had little to do with the massacre of Jews and everything to do with the average Frenchman’s fear for his own safety and his own freedom of speech. What sorry fools, they refuse to admit the connection; but then, what else is new?

These jerks are always fond of saying that religion is the cause of the world’s ills( as per the Charlie signs.) Well, I guess they should be rallying against eating as well, since food is the cause of many common serious medical diseases.

Probably because there is truth to what they say.

Judging from the general social climate in France, the French are not defending the Jews or mourning their loss. Those who are waving the signs supporting Jews are largely Jewish themselves. If anything the average citizen or politician in France would be quite happy for the Jews to leave and, ironically, consider them the cause of trouble as they have been the first target of the terrorists. It;s just that the French now woke up to the fact that there is no longer any structure in their country and that it’s turning to chaos.
