Over 2 million people participated in the Selichot gatherings and Yom Kippur prayers at the Western Wall during the month of Elul and the Ten Days of Repentance, despite the current war in Israel.
Tens of thousands joined central Selichot event and Hatarat Nedarim (the annulment of vows) on Erev Yom Kippur. During the event, the massive crowd offered heartfelt prayers for IDF soldiers, the hostages, and the injured. Tens of thousands gathered on Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year, as well.
The Western Wall Heritage Foundation noted: “This year, a record number of worshippers attended the Selichot services throughout the entire month.”

Sincere prayers from Jews of all backgrounds, united in love for Israel. Witness the faith of ordinary people who believe wholeheartedly that G-d will redeem us and rebuild the Temple speedily in our days now, Amen.
