Chabad of Kendall and Pinecrest in Florida hosted Naomi Nachman, renowned cookbook author and social media personality, for a pre-Rosh Hashana event.
Over 60 women turned out for “An Evening of Culinary Delight,” a pre-High Holiday Kosher cooking demonstration organized by Shlucha Nechama Harlig.
Nachman, known as “The Aussie Gourmet,” gave a presentation on recipes to enhance the Rosh Hashana menu from her new bestselling cookbook, Perfect Flavors, published by ArtScroll Mesorah Publications.
Participants chatted and mingled over a delicious buffet dinner, before learning how to make “simanim Ceviche,” wine and pomegranate chicken, lotus bars and pumpkin Challah.
Nachman infused the event with her high energy and cooking expertise, giving cooking tips as well as inspiration about Rosh Hashana.
