it was amazing great job
Perhaps next year bidding can open online a few days before lag baomer so those of us out of town can have a chance to partake in this special lighting in the Rebbes Daled Amos.
We had a great time. Loved the music.
I have yet to hear someone say not to copy a good business model, food recipes etc. because its chaga”s. How much more so when it comes to ruchnius (as long as no clear instruction otherwise)…
As long as its a good thing it is mature and good to copy (see Pirkei avos). I hope that is what you teach your kids.
I am assuming you would only approve of concerts etc. because its not so common by Chaga'”s (and not to get overly involved in Torah learning as well for the same reason) LOL
It is one of the few events in CH that me and my wife feels pure Achdus and pure holy Simcha.
A big thank you to the organizers!
Its as new as Cteens, JCM, and kids hakofos in 770, etc.etc.
Fire lighting was is ONLY a Minhag Eretz Yisroel. In our “Kreizen” in Chutz Laoretz it was never done. Not in Lubavitch, not in Rostov, not Otvotzk, not NY. This is a new thing post Gimml Tammuz copying other Kreizen….
i am in one of the pictures!!!
The Rebbe Rashab sent money to Chevron to buy the zechus of lighting the fire. So even if we didn’t see it done in Lubavitch, it can’t be dismissed as “andere kreizen.”
Myself, I didn’t have the guts to say it.
Thanks Wolfee for getting the rebbes tyere bochurim on col
Go shiur aleph la!! Go meir and Dovid
so nice seeing everyone so happy and b’achdus! many more such Crown heights community events beH
great singing Yossi Goldstein, kol hakavod
Why imitate andere kreizen when Chabad has their own meseyreh?
