The Chabad community in New Haven has begun a special learning project to prepare for the upcoming auspicious day of Yud Alef Nissan, the birthday of the Rebbe.
As a preparation for the day, a special 4-week Mivtza has been organized as a joint initiative by Yeshivas Beis Dovid Shlomo Zal, led by Menahel Rabbi Chanoch Bistritzky and Oholei Yosef Yitzchok directed by Avi Dagan.
The goal of the project is to bring together community members and bochurim from the Yeshiva Zal twice a week for Shiurim in the Rebbe’s Torah.
On Tuesdays, a Shiur will be given on the Rebbe’s revolutionary Maamer on Bechira, on the subject of “Why Choose G-d” by Rabbi Bistritzky.
On Thursdays, community members will join the Zal bochurim for Chavrusa learning of selected Sichos of the Rebbe.

I’m so happy to see the New Haven community grow and flourish. Represented by some really great Cali guys. Leave expensive crime ridden Crown Heights and move!
