A colorful, meticulously designed Aseres Hadibros brochure has been distributed around the Crown Heights neighborhood for the Shavuos holiday.
Designed by Menachem Benchemon of Visual-Torah.com and sponsored by COLlive.com, they are sure to enhance the reading of the Aseres Hadibros at Shuls across the neighborhood.
The beautifully designed full-color brochures have been distributed to the children in local Crown Heights schools and will also be distributed in all the Crown Heights and East Flatbush Shuls.
The Yomtov of Shavuos this week celebrates the Jewish people receiving the Torah on Har Sinai. Central among its observance is the reading of the Aseres Hadibros (Ten Commandments).
The Rebbe stressed that every effort should be made to bring all Jewish children, girls, boys and even infants, to Shul to hear the Aseres Hadibros, just like in the desert.
The Aseres Hadibros brochure will certainly enhance the Shavuos experience for children and adults, adding excitement and joy to the reading of the Aseres Hadibros.
The visual Aseres Hadibros presents itself as two authentic Luchos, to reveal the complete Aseres Hadibros text. Each of the Aseres Hadibros comes alive with beautiful original illustrations, along with simple and easy-to-understand English captions, which capture the theme of each Dibur. In addition, on the reverse side, the complete Torah reading for the first day of Shavuos is included in a visually appealing format.
Minyonim for Aseres Hadibros will be held in the 11 locations around Crown Heights, and beyond, to allow all men, women and children to attend.
